This is a very rare EXU car of which only 494 were made .
Presented in very original running oily rag condition
All matching numbers car using all original major components
The body is original and has benefited from being dry stored for a very long time and the apple green interior has been retrimmed to original pattern
New mohair hood fitted
Due to the success of the TC in North America a special model was designed at the end of production for the North American market and these were known as the EXU cars . They had several features not fitted on the standard TC model most notably front and rear bumpers , still present on this charming example .
Other features included twin lucas wind tone horns mounted under the bonnet , a central MG Medallion on the rear bumper, two map reading lights and a rearranged instrument panel
