SUMMARY
An absolutely stunning example, and probably one of the best, if not "The" best W210 E-Class I've come across, which has covered just 21, 434 miles (I'll refrain from saying from new, because like all cars, it didn't do any miles before it was new!) Owned by the same gentleman for almost 18 years, who bought is new, until his passing, it was subsequently bought by a Mercedes Enthusiast and past customer of mine who has an uncanny knack of finding unique examples like this. He owned this E240 for just over a year, which based on past experience, is his usual attention span, and was ready to move onto the next car on his list, hence this W210 finding its way to me. I've bought several of his cars over the years, and all, without exception, have been in the same (exceptional) league as this one.
It's certainly no exaggeration to say this car is truly immaculate, both on top and underneath, with absolutely none of corrosion associated with this model, infact its probably about as close as you'll get to a brand new W210 E-Class. The interior is also equally pristine, and it even still has that "new" smell about it, and the drive is out of this world, and even makes most modern cars feel uncomfortable in comparison.
You can think of this car in two ways; either as an appreciating classic to use on high days and holidays, or as a very cheap, almost new prestige car, that you could quite eaily use on a daily basis. Personally, I think to use it as the latter would be an absolute travesty, especially as the W210 is eventually beginning to find favour among the classic fraternity of late. I think this is probably the last generation of Mercedes that remains robust enough to be reliable, but refined enough to be enjoyable, yet simple enough to fix; as such its a very easy car to use, maintain and live with.
So, in summary, and I hasten to use the much abused, and generally meaningless terms such as: "time-warp" "mint" "out of the box" etc etc, but if I were to, in this case those terms could actually accurately apply to this exceptional car.
MTSV CLASSIC MERCEDES
MTSV (an abbreviation for Mark Taylor Specialist Vehicles) was born out an incurable and lifelong obsession for anything with four wheels on it, especially those carrying the legendary Three Pointed Star. Established by me, Mark Taylor in November 2005 when the Classic Car market was in its infancy and long before “everyman and his dog” had jumped on the Classic Car bandwagon. Specialising in Classic Mercedes from the late 1970’s, through to the 2000’s, I also frequently have the odd foray into other quality classics and sometimes even modern cars, however the qualification is always that it has to be interesting, and/ or just a little different; my theory, which has served me well so far, is that if I like it, someone else probably will!
My main specialisation is the legendary Mercedes W201 190 and Mercedes W124; I firmly believe these models were about as good as cars got in terms of sheer, teutonic quality, and believe them to be the best cars Mercedes have ever made. I’ve built up a substantial knowledge of both the W201 190 & W124 over many years, which I’m always happy to share, and have recently contributed to a W201 buying guide written by Julian Parish. I also have extensive experience of the most of the Mercedes models within my “band of interest” namely the W116, W123, W202 & W203 C-Class, W208 & W209 CLK, W210 & W211 E-Class, W126 & W140 S-Class, R170 & R171 SLK and the R129 SL-Class. Obviously as time goes on later models are coming onto my radar too.
MTSV has always, and will always focus on quality rather than quantity, and in doing so has earned, and continues to maintain an enviable reputation among its many customers both in the UK and abroad, many who are now three, four and even five times repeat customers, some of which have become good friends too. I’m also listed in the Mercedes Club Directory as a recommended business and I’ve also had several of my rarer cars featured in the motoring press too.
THE MTSV DIFFERENCE
Unlike some, I don’t just simply go out, buy any old car, give it a good clean, then advertise it for more than the purchase price, disregarding any issues the car may have in the hope the new buyer won’t notice…I just couldn’t do that. The cars I source are carefully selected and I work very hard so that when my cars leave me, I have the satisfaction of knowing they are as good as they possibly can be within the constraints I have. As such I have many repeat customers and new customers that have been recommended via word of mouth…the ultimate accolade for anyone in business.

COVID -19 Outbreak - November 2020 Update
In line with Government requirements, MTSV will be required to close to ALL visitors between 05/ 11/ 2020 and 02/ 12/ 2020, obviously this will be subject to any changes made by the government during that period.
I will however remain "virtually open" and will be fully contactable throughout this period via e-mail, phone, Whatsapp, Text Message etc, and as ever will be more than happy to provide extra photos and walk round videos. If you are happy to buy any of my vehicles on the strength of photos, descriptions and videos etc, as many were in the last lockdown, I can either store the vehicle for you free of charge until the end of the lockdown restrictions, or alternatively arrange to have the vehicles delivered to you, in line with government regulations.
