1970 Volkswagen Beetle 1300 , Classic Beetle subject of extensive restoration in or around 2011/ 2012 , New floor pans etc . Any underside inspection welcome , Having owned this beetle in 2015 we fitted new carpets , New window rubbers and a new headlining . Mechanically we fitted a new clutch and replaced the engine bay covers and the rubber gasket to the splash tray . 2017 we fitted new rubber door seals , 2020 we fitted new door handle and front and rear light rubber gaskets . It has the uprated 1641 cc "Beetle Cup Engine" which has done minimal mileage since fitting , Fuelled by a Weber carburettor and a "Monza" twin exhaust systems expels the gases . Beetles are in many cases presented as to there owners taste . This example has the flat front light conversion and front and rear "Towel Rail" bumpers which look great . Recently fitted with a new battery and four new tyres . At point of sale the Beetle will undergo a service and an MOT if required .
