2012 Abarth Punto evo Scorpione edition with 44k miles.
This extremely rare scorpione is 1 of only 10 built in RHD for the UK market and was a special factory order only. It is also registered by Abarth Italy and entered into their “cars of special historical interest” and as such is a collectable future investment.
The scorpione features the full esseesse tuning pack from the factory which includes yellow 4 pot Brembo calipers, 18” gloss black esseesse wheels, floating front discs, koni FSD suspension and a BMC freeflow filter. Inside it features the rare sabelt corse seats and unique “scorpione mats”
The scorpione also featured a very unique matt black paint scheme on the roof and bonnet.
I have owned this car for nearly five years and only the second owner. It has a full titanium exhaust, 200cell sports cat, dv plus valve and a remap taking power to about 210 bhp (it will also come with the OBD plug in hardware to store upto 4 additional maps or take it back to stock if wished all within a few minutes) I will also include a second set of brand new unused scorpione floor mats, no longer available.
It will come with 12 months MOT (from next week) and has full service history all by abarth apart from two by the previous owner.
Bodywork is in excellent condition, not mint but it has no dents or substantial scratches but does have a couple of minor stone chips. The front bumper in my opinion could do with a respray as it has a bit of stone rash (always looks bad on black) There is a minor scrape on the rear arch (had it since I owned it) and that’s it. It has been dry stored in between use for the last 3 years. It will also come with a genuine abarth indoor cover.
The interior is mint, the sabelt seats have no signs of wear or creasing (im always careful how I get in and never slide over the bolsters, its an ocd thing!!) The plastics are all mark free and the car has never been smoked in, im a non smoker and so was the first owner.
Bad bits….
The radio reception is crap, mainly nothing but this is the aerial base which needs replacing, common issue. The esseesse wheels are all straight and in good condition but could benefit from a refurb. It has nearly new Michelin ps4 on the front and brand new continentals on the rear.
The cambelt was changed at 23K miles (now on 44k) but was done in August 2016 and although technically not due for another 3 years (according to fiat) I always maintain it should be done within 5 years so it would be due by August 2021
With all this in mind I have reflected this in the price.
I have always run the car on selenia 5w 40 recommended oil and only ever used v-power. The multiair filter has been replaced and removed and cleaned every other oil change.
My car was featured in the Auto Italia magazine which I will include a copy and the rare original brochure. It comes with 2 keys and all the paperwork / books etc.
