Description

This 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible has been subject to fire damage. We consider this car to be still restorable, needing a nut and bolt rebuild and a substantial amount of new parts.

As with many Karmann Ghia's, the body shows rust damage in some of the more typical areas: sill panels, lower rear fenders and behind the headlight trim. The chassis platform looks mostly solid, though the right rear floor panel has rust damage and needs to be replaced.

The interior is destroyed and needs to be completely replaced. This includes all glass, gauges, switchgear and the complete electrical system. The steering column is locked and the key is missing.

All engine ancillaries need to be replaced. Engine and gearbox appear fine on the outside and should be considered rebuildable.

VIN plates and engine number are intact. A complete strip down and rebuild will bring this Karmann Ghia back to life.

Price: € 5. 900

The Karmann Ghia comes with an EU customs document and a commercial invoice. All import duties have been paid.
