Description
This Silver Shadow I was first registered on the 25th April 1969 as a Swiss delivered example of this magnificent automobile. According to the documentation available the car was repainted and its interior restored around 40 years ago. As far as we know, the car has covered roughly 200’000km in 50 years, with a period of inactivity from 1989 until 2006, during which time the Silver Shadow was not driven at all. Since 2006 the Rolls has been with two enthusiastic owners who added a mere 1’000km to the total mileage in 14 years. The car received regular maintenance but the beautifully patinated coachwork and interior were left undisturbed. In 2019 the car suffered an engine damage caused by a malfuntioning visco cooling-fan. As a result, a correct replacement engine with 95’000km under its belt was installed in 2020. At the same time, the visco cooling-fan, all fluids and the center exhaust silencers were replaced. The last Swiss Veteran MOT dates from June 2015.
