This lovely Silver Shadow 2 has covered just 41, 000 miles from new. The current owner approacing 90 years of age has decided it is time to hang the keys up & allow it to go to a new owner. It has been very sparingly used during his tenure.
The current owner who has had a recent spell in hospital has been unable to locate the service hstory file but has had the car maintained by North's garage of Lane End who started trading in 1923 no less. Prospective buyers are welcome to call them. Being a low milege car this example drives simply beautifully with wonderfully supple suspension & no untoward clonks or rattles. Indeed when you drive a good low mile example such as this you relize what a fantastic car they were when new. It is one of the best driving Silver SHadows I have had the pleasure of experiencing
This example is finished in honey gold over walnut with the paintowrk being in very nice conditon thoughout. The stone coloured interior leather is also in fine condition commensurate with the very low mileage covered. The original lambswool overmats are found under foot as are the indiviual footreasts for the rear passengers.
The car comes with its original books & manuals. The tool kit is in its appointed place in the boot as is the complete original tool kit & spare bulb pack.
We stongly advise coming to see & drive this car as it drives so well. Steering is finger tip light with the thin steering wheel rim having a quality tactile feel to it The heating sytem works well & the air conditioning blows cold. All in all this is a very nice example in fine running condition with a smooth silent engine & imperceptible gear changes.
