Ford Ten 7W Deluxe-1937. NOW SOLD
This is a very rare car indeed known as the predecessor to the Ford Popular and Anglia. This original side valve Ford 10 with its distinctive 3 bar grille set the benchmark for the post war fords we know and love. Being a Deluxe it has a heater and the sliding sunroof panel which has all been restored taking many hours and skill. The paintwork is excellent having had a recent full repspray. The original wheels have all been restored period correct with new period correct tyres. The interior again is excellent and has all been restored. The original bakelite dash is just to die for and really puts you in the pre war era.
Mechanically this Ford 10 is excellent having had much recent expenditure. New clutch, new starter, new battery, full engine rebuild, full head rebuild, carb rebuild, fuel pump, electronic ignition, brake overhaul etc etc. large history file with pics of the car when stripped to a bare shell.
This is a superb example of a car very rarely seen and is a major talking point at shows etc. As soon as any aficionado spots the 3 opening grille and the Red badging the cameras come out! Runs very well and starts on the button, a lovely pre war classic.
