1995 Mercedes Benz C36
After Mercedes bought AMG in the early 90’s they set to work on there first official car, this being the w202 c36 AMG. Starting with the base of a C280 sport AMG reengineered the car with a host of features all designed to take on the BMW E36 M3, starting with an Amg developed a naturally aspirated 3. 6-litre straight six engine paired to a 4 speed automatic box. The car also featured a reworked suspension and the brakes from the mighty S600. With all the extra performance the car was finished with some subtle bodywork changes, larger wheels, and a bespoke interior
This particular W202 C36 has owners from new and has been very well maintained through its 25+ years owing a lot to its full service history. More recently the car has benefited from some paintwork where the regular arrears of rust would occur. The car also benefits from a more modern sound system making the car much more liveable if you want to use it everyday.
All in all the C36 represents great value in the current market place and as the first official Mercedes AMG product will hold its own in any car collection
