A very well specified W124 E320 Coupé in rare Onyx Grey metallic with only 84k Miles from new.
The coupé brought added elegance to one of Mercedes’ greatest models, the W124. Introduced in ’87, the coupé featured a shorter chassis and pillarless side windows to accentuate the elegant roofline. Facelifted in ’93 and fitted with the latest multivalve engines, the E320 Coupé was its last and most potent version.
This example was sold new by Monarch of Tamworth. It was ordered in Onyx grey with grey leather trim along with air conditioning, cruise control, electric seats, Sports Chassis and the five-speed automatic gearbox.
The car left the UK in 2005 for the sunnier climes of Mallorca, remaining there until 2019, when it came back to the UK and was registered here again.
Recent work has included replacement window regulators, new wishbones and steering links, along with refurbished wheels.
As the photos show this is a very clean and smart E320 with excellent paintwork, a very good interior and it drives very well indeed.
MoT until December with no advisories and HPI clear.
All in all a top spec 320 Coupé in a very attractive and contemporary colour combination. These cars are getting surprisingly hard to find these days. A very usable car that offers great value for money.
