Existing Lanchester owner seeks late model saloon 10, with 1444cc engine, or 11, to purchase for long term ownership. May consider Daimler 15 of the same period and general arrangement but I am hesitant to extend this search to fixed cylinder head Lanchester models. A car with a Mulliner body is really what I'm after
Purchase aimed for mid April 2021 onwards. Interesting 2 door model particularly wanted but 4 door saloon also considered, particularly 4 light sports saloon model but if your standard six light saloon meets my requirements I would be very pleased to hear from you. The car must be:
On its original number plate, not be ex wedding hire, not white, no "upgrades" - however appealing you may have thought they were;
mechanical Girling braked model, highly original, no cheap fixes to mechanical or electrical or trim items which would have been working properly originally and have a working sunroof, period matching colour scheme matching inside and out (e. g. Not green or blue outside and red inside) in the UK and registered as such.
In other words, a really proper well looked after example. A small amount of recommissioning would not be objected to. Also, any spare parts pertaining to the particular model would be welcomed with commensurate recognition of their value. I would also be prepared to wait for the right car if you plan to keep it a little while longer or have an unfulfilled commitment.
Payment in cash on collection. A transfer might just be tolerated for the right car.
