This Classic CZ 175 Sport Motorcycle was owned by my close friend who is now in poor health, he asked me to clear out his workshop and this was part of it, he had owned this bike since the 1970's and went to work on the bike every day, but it was last used around 1983 and has sat in his workshop since then.
The overall condition of the bike is good for its age, it has alloy wheel rims, the brakes are good and free, tyres are good, wheel bearings are free, the engine compression is good, the gears all select and the clutch operates fine, the seat is all good and the handlebar controls are fine, the bike comes with an old style V5 registration document and one previous MOT certificate dated 1982
I think if someone spent a few hours going through the basics like cleaning the Carburettor and washing the fuel tank out or even a day on going over the whole bike checking everything for safety, then I think it could be up and running to use as it is, a good clean would make it sparkle !
The two main issues are that it needs a new battery and the battery cover has rotted through, but the cover doesn’t need sorting to use the bike
