c1969 Wassel BSA D14 Bantam Trials Bike A rare and unique Period Trials Bike . W. E Wassell Limited of Lichfield, Founded by Ted Wassell in 1946 . First a maker of speciality components and latterly frame kits . Going on to build complete bikes with Villiers , BSA Bantam and Saches engines . Wassell made its own trials and scrambles frame suitable for the popular BSA Bantam 125/ 175 engine – they made its said up to 100 examples - and then its own 125cc Sachs powered machine engineered by ex-Dalesman's Jim Lee and Peter Edmonson superseded the Bantam powered Wassels.
