Ford transit 100 popular high top - great work vehicle / ideal camper conversion
very good usable condition, since i acquired the vehicle in april 2020: new number plates, brand new full stainless steel exhaust professionally fitted in slovenia according to the manufacturers original design, refurbished alternator, upgraded headlight bulbs, side lights, professional respray to many areas inc back doors. Full ford lookers main dealer service / vehicle check undertaken on 4. 6. 2020 (see photos).
it has the legendary 2. 0 petrol 'banana' engine, bombproof, runs very well, the transit is currently in slovenia and was brought here by me from the uk to use at my house, very light use only undertaken, the vehicle will be driven back to the uk early may 2021, viewing possible from 10th may 2021 in ongar, essex. Mot expiry 19. 5. 2021 but will be sold with new 12 months mot.
excellent potential for cost effective camper conversion. Previous owner looked after it well for many years and upgraded the power steering, suspension, cab, so drives like a modern transit, very very reliable, great cruiser with good acceleration, i opted for it over modern transits as the latter are normally beaten up with damaged panels. Plus this has classic ford value and is an appreciating asset, very few now in this condition.
