A 33 year old Vauxhall Astra estate. Only done 3387 miles !
The old lady bought this car in 1988 from Signpost Motors in Trowbridge (the Vauxhall dealership) where she part exchanged her Hillman Hunter and in the paperwork is even the receipt for the Hillman Hunter ????
She used the car locally till her mother died in 1996 and she then gave up driving.
The car was then only taken out by the gardener occasionally and for its annual mot. The lady even had it serviced even though she wasn’t using it.
The lady passed away in 2010 and the car was put into dry storage. The car has never even been out or used in the rain in its life so would explain why it’s so clean.
A family member had the timing belt and water pump and brakes changed in 2016 and the car went back into storage.
Car is absolutely beautiful.
Small amount of lacquer peel on top of tailgate and 2 tiny dings where the old lady opened tailgate and hit garage door.
Show car easily. You just can’t help but stare at the car. It’s a really rare find.
