Vehicle history:
Towards the end of the production period, two strictly limited versions of the DB7 were presented: the DB7 Vantage Zagato and the DB AR1, of which only 99 vehicles were produced. Andrea Zagato created a new body for both, but technically they largely correspond to the Vantage versions.
The DB AR1 was designed in the style of a classic roadster without a full roof, but it technically largely resembled the DB7 Volante. The wheelbase of the Zagato was shortened and the weight significantly reduced to make it even sportier than to achieve with the DB7 GT. Both Zagato models are pure two-seaters.
This Aston Martin DB7 GT Zagato was delivered to its first owner in Aachen, Germany in 2004 via the importer Hauswirth Exklusiv. It was resold in 2010 and has been in the hands of an Aston Martin collector ever since. In the summer of 2019, the car was serviced at Aston Martin Düsseldorf. Today the vehicle is flawless. This rare coupe is an absolute collector's vehicle.
