FORD GRANADA MK1 3. 0 GHIA - STUNNING CONDITION
I am absolutely delighted to have recently taken this super rare mk1 granada in part exchange. It is a 6 previous owner vehicle and has been with the last owner for twelve years . Displayed mileage is 12800 which I would take as 112800 looking at mileage readings earlier in the vehicles life.
When the last owner bought the vehicle it was subject to a complete restoration over a number of years . The restoration is fully documented with a photographic record consisting of over 150 photographs. The body was completely stripped to a bare shell and all the necessary metal repairs were undertaken which consisted of but not limited to - a post repairs, sills, wheel arches , new wings, the previous owner even managed to source four new full doors .
It was also completely overhauled mechanically and the engine bay is still absolutely spotless to this day, motorcraft parts have been used throughout . When the engine was rebuilt the previous owner also upgraded the timing gear from fibre to metal as it is much stronger and far more reliable. It then had a full repaint before being reassembled and the vinyl roof recovered aswell as a fresh stainless steel exhaust system .
All of the interior trim, carpets and seats are in excellent overall condition and the seats are upgraded to leather trim from a later vehicle which really suits the monochrome look of the car.
The last owner was an avid member of the granada owners club and the vehicle has been a past concours winner at many events over the years and also comes with a number of valuation certificates over the years that have been undertaken by the club and confirm the quality of the ownership on this vehicle.
It has been used on many european trips by the last owner and is a lovely comfortable cruiser that drives without fault.
There are currently no mk1 granadas for sale at all in the UK apart from this one, so this represents a great opportunity to acquire a very desirable early car that will make a welcome addition to any collection.
