1960 VW Beetle
RHD, 89K Miles, 1200, Fully restored
A superb example of a classic RHD Beetle, which has been nicely restored back to factory specification. Built in August 1960 and finished in the original period colour of Beryll Green with complimenting Beige interior. We have the ‘Zertifikat’ from VW on file confirming the production date and colour. Completed in 2017, the car now benefits from a rebuilt 1200 engine, full body restoration and repaint back to the original colour and full interior re-trim completed to a very high standard including rebuilt and re-trimmed seats, Newton Commercial carpets, mohair headliner, all new rubber seals through the whole car and some nice period finishing touches such as the rear blind and Bambus front parcel shelf. The vehicle is sensibly lowered and comes equipped with a 4-speed manual gearbox, rebuilt 1200cc engine showing zero end float, refurbished brakes, good tyres all round with at least 6mm tread. The car starts with no hesitation and is an absolute joy to drive. There is slight pitting in the chrome on the headlight surrounds and a couple of minor blemishes in the paint but overall the car presents very well and is ready to be enjoyed.
