Introduction
Here at Old Colonel Cars we are delighted to have this superb Toyota MR2. This is one of the very last and very sought after, MK2 Rev 5 cars, with low owners and only 87, 000 Miles. Its been a delight to work with this car, the condition is excellent. It very rare to find one of these in such original condition, no modifications etc. It looks fantastic and is great fun to drive, with its twin cam engine which loves to be revved, a nice and precise 5 speed gearbox. Its a very light feeling car compared to modern cars, great for those weekend blasts …
This example comes with all the original manuals, all the original keys, a fully stamped service book, a folder of old MOT’s and receipts. It features a lovely full leather interior in excellent condition. It also has the iconic Twin ‘T Bar’ removable sunroofs complete with their covers in the boot.
This MR2 is lovely to drive and everything works as it should.
It recently had a new clutch and gearbox service and its just gone straight through an MOT.

Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
Finished in Silver metallic, as you can hopefully see from the many pictures and video, this is a lovely example. Look closer, there is no rust on this car, all arches are solid, all sills etc are solid and original. Look inside the engine bay, boot etc, again no rust and all very original.
Inside the excellent condition continues. I doubt you will find a better preserved MR2 interior, its lovely.
The original alloys are all in lovely condition, free from any major curbing or marks etc.
Engine / Gearbox
The twin cam engine starts without fuss and sounds and performs perfectly.
The clutch and gearbox feel and perform as they should. The clutch has nice light feel and gear changes are precise and secure.
History
This example benefits from a full service history, no less than 15 service stamps in the original service book. Its clearly been looked after and maintained correctly.
Summary
This is a lovely example of a late MR2. These cars have a big following and its rare now to find one as clean and original as this. At this price it should prove to be a very sound investment going forward, but most importantly, a great weekend modern classic.
