Just imported from South Africa. Mercedes W115, 230-4. 1975.
Light restoration project.

Unlike many imports this Mercedes has been correctly imported. It has a vin, Nova registered and papers to easily and correctly register it.
I can register for a fee or you can do it yourself for £55.

Runs very well.
Starts easily.
One of the rare classic cars that i have left out in the elements, uncovered and it does not leak.
2300cc petrol, 4 cylinder engine.
Floors are original i can see no signs of repairs and are in very good condition (see bad bits).
Manual gearbox.
Electrics, all lights work, wipers work (even on intermittent), horn works and also quite rare for an old South African car the heater works!
Bodywork does have a few minor faults and the worst being the bottom of the off side wing, but overall in very good straight condition.
Excellent panel gaps.
Roof lining is excellent, no rips and looks original.
This car is not full of filler and bodged repairs.
All the steelwork is in very good condition and undamaged.
I like the fact that this is a very basic model, no sunroof, non auto, no air con, no headrests and manual winding windows.
Bad Bits,
drivers side foot well need a small repair.
bottom of offside wing (pictured).
dent on off side rear quarter.
paint tired.
dash top cracked.
drivers seat worn.
