Descrizione
Very rare Fairthorpe Electrina, one of only two survivors of the six produced, this one owner car is complete and ready for full restoration. Original 948cc twin carb Triumph Herald engine, simple mechanics and body bolts to the Fairthorpe chassis making it a basic car to restore, it will require new outriggers and siderails on the chassis. Large boot makes this 2+2 a great car for touring in and it is eligible for several forms of Historic racing, making it guarantied an entry as you won`t find another one on the grid! Lightweight fibreglass body would make this very competitive as they were available with 1147cc Triumph engines or FORD 105E of 997cc. Eligible for HRDC championship races or the Swinging 60`s championship with a dry weight of 945lbs it is significantly lighter than the average 50`s or 60`s saloon or GT. The car comes with it`s original buff log book and is located in south Lincolnshire. The engine can be turned by hand but hasn`t been started for a number of years. The painted wheels with chrome hubcaps in the pictures are NOT included, they are from one of my other cars, the original wheels which come with it still hold air and the car moves freely. Can be delivered by arrangement.
