Mr Padley worked for MB Milton Keynes for over 25 years. Before he retired he acquired a 124 E320 Estate and this SL320. The SL was always garaged and solely used for high days and holidays so remained in perfectly preserved condition.
Finished in Brilliant Silver with grey leather, the car was specified with memory driver’s seat, heated seats, eight-hole alloys and a black soft top together with its standard factory hard top.
This is the desirable 96-98 version of the R129 with the straight-six, improved engine bay wiring and the five-speed automatic gearbox.
It’s fair to say that this car has the perfect history file. All original books and manuals plus full service history comprising of nine stamps in the service book from MB and one MB specialist. The file contains all correspondence between Padley and MB in Stuttgart regarding the order of the car, the original bill of sale and all service bills that correspond to the stamps and old MoTs.
As you might expect this car is in absolutely immaculate original condition throughout. Immaculate hood, unmarked diamond-cut wheels and the interior remains as fresh as new. Importantly it drives as if it just left the factory.
