This Fiat 124 Sport Coupè 1. 6 second series for sale has just arrived at our garage!
In its original Vivid Red color with black interior, with a still very current design and a sporty look.
The interior, in vynil and black velvet, is redone following the original specifications, and is in excellent condition. The original dashboard was also covered in black vynil.
The previous owner, from the province of Cosenza, Calabria, has always kept the car indoors, thus protecting it from rust.
A few years ago it underwent a total repainting, to date it's still in good condition despite some small signs of aging.
Once inspected the car, we noticed that there had been a common change to the power supply: a double-barrel carburetor and air filter from the previous series had been placed. This used to be done in the past years to make the car consume less gasoline. We then went to great lengths to find his original 40 vertical Weber Double-barrel Carburettors and air filter box for this specific model, and brought everything back to its original state!
We then proceeded to a complete mechanical overhaul, with the replacement of many worn components, and of the engine, with a general service and a complete overhaul of the spectacular vertical Weber carburettors.
The engine is really brilliant, with the fantastic 1. 608cc Fiat Bialbero, with a double overhead camshaft distribution (designed by the famous Engineer Lampredi), it delivers a power of 110hp, and with a declared maximum speed of 180Kmh, it is a really fun to drive and reliable.
The car comes with the manuals and brochures of the time, and its original booklet.
