We have had this lovely car in stock for nearly 18 months awaiting time to do some minor jobs, but its still sat here as it was when we purchased it. In this time we have used it occasionally for runs out at the weekend. The Armstrong comes with a lovely history file which is quite extensive detailing a considerable amount of work over the years including unleaded spec engine rebuild. There are several pages detailing exactly what has been done and dates. This particular car featured in the 1988 film "The franchise affair" again all of which is detailed in the file. It retains its original registration number together with buff log book. Also present are the original maintenance manual and handbook. With many other cars in "the line" we have decided to sell some as they stand. So there are 2 jobs that this car requires which are as follows. The carburettor needs attention as it runs very rich, we briefly tried adjusted mixture but to no avail. There is also an oil leak at rear of engine, not sure exactly where its coming from but maybe rear main. It really is a lovely car of the era and will turn heads wherever it goes.
