1989 Range Rover Classic 2-Door Backdate
We are delighted to offer what is frankly the best restored 3 door Range Rover we have ever seen. Presented here for sale in what we believe is the best colour, Lincoln Green, this impressive example of the Range Rover Classic has just recently undergone a mammoth programme of works to restore it back to its former glory and tastefully backdate it to "Suffix" aesthetic.
The vendor began by sourcing a dry and solid car from France that had been sitting in a garage for a number of years resulting in the car being rust free but tired. Under the guidance of a leading Range Rover classic specialist, they set about creating a usable but classic looking 3 door. It boasts a large invoice and service history documenting the work done to it, including a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate. The car has been UK registered and is ready for use here or export.
Work completed:
- New Pirelli tyres
- New Royston’s wheels
- New brakes with vented discs, lines and callipers
- Both axles rebuilt
- New bearings all round
- New suspension
- VM 2. 4 turbo diesel engine, gearbox (both fully rebuilt by Range Rover Restorations) and body mounts. The engine was a replacement unit but the car's original engine is still with the car should the new owner wish to keep it.
