I am very sad to be getting rid of this amazing Russian classic but I am selling because I have now bought a Campervan and no longer have space. I was looking for a Lada Niva for about a year before this one popped up so there aren't many for sale in the UK.
A little history... I bought it off a mechanic who imported it from Portugal and then he did a fair bit of work on it. He said it was in fully working condition when he drove it back to the UK but he took it apart, changed all the perishable parts (rubbers/ gaskets/ filters etc) and sprayed it matte black from white.
I've owned it for about a year and a half and has run really well for that time! It has passed 2 MOT's during my ownership and has 11 months on it from now (27/ 10/ 21). Full service history and log-book.
It is a permanent 4x4 with a central differential lock and high/ low gears, for fun off-road and has a 1. 6ltr petrol engine.
The body work is in excellent condition but over the last year, a handful of rust spots started coming through and so I have had it ground back, treated and a full re-spray so it now looks really great!
The front bumper has two LED bars that can be turned on with full-beam and comes with a cool winch fitted to it. There are some minor rips and tears in the upholstery but otherwise the interior is not bad. The exhaust had cracked so I have had a new section of pipe welded onto it and functions fine but could do with being replaced in the future.
Also included are 3 full sets of spare keys, a spare tyre, original Jack and a big box of spare parts in the boot.
