Description
1990 Mercedes-Benz W124 300E
Anthracite with grey cloth
Automatic, electric windows, cruise control, 15-hole alloy wheels
170, 465 miles
Very good service history - 28 services recorded
Recent new rear dampers, radiator, distributor cap/ arm, alternator, front brake pads and 4x matching Pirelli all-season tyres.
12 months MoT with only advisories for front and rear number plates and slight play in steering idler.
The underside is very solid with no rot or welding in all the usual 124 rust points like the inner wings, jacking points, chassis/ floor or subframe mounts.
Interior is tidy with no bolster wear to the seat unlike normal.
The car runs and drives fine and has been in daily use with 12, 500 miles covered in the last year alone.
As you can see, it’s a bit scruffy. A slight altercation with a bus in Oxford resulted in the dents on the driver’s side.
The car was Cat C in 2011 after a light impact to the nearside front damaging the wing, bonnet and headlamp. There was no structural damage and we have the bill for repair.
Various scratches and marks over the body.
The car has been faithful daily transport for the last owner who loved it (despite appearances) and would have kept it had he not moved abroad.
A great rolling restoration project for the enthusiast, or just enjoy it as it is!
Note – in line with the mileage, condition and price point of this car it has not been through our workshop and subject to the usual preparation. It will be sold as a project with no warranty.
