Original California state survivor Mustang genuine Mach 1 with the hard to find 300bhp 4v 351 Cleveland M Code engine. Produced on the 21st July 1970 at the San Jose Ford plant in California. Factory correct Grabber blue paint with repaint in fair condition but some age relates marks and blemishes as shown in the Dropbox link above. Ideally needs painting but could be touched up short term. The two worst parts are on the roof where the paint has lifted. The interior is in great condition with a couple of small details needed such as remote mirror control mechanism and a console repair, otherwise very good overall. Interior lights working and gauges all working except the temp gauge.
No rips or tears in seat covers or headliner.
Comes with original blue/ yellow California number plates with up to date 2021 tags in running and driving condition.
Needs a service and tune up as is currently running rough with hesitation on acceleration. It has a recent non-branded new carb fitted, but needs setting up properly or ideally replacing with e. g a Holley in my opinion. Running and driving car with good oil pressure, no leaks. Transmission operates correctly shifting smoothly. The power disc brakes all working fine. Uprated rear anti roll bar. Performance X-Celerator intake, upgraded ignition system. Dual exhaust.
The car has its original and undamaged rear quarters and excellent original floor pans.
Really hard to find in original, survivor condition like this. I have the Marti report.
This particular Mach One was ordered with the following options; Black Hood Stripe, Evaporative Emission System, Convenience Group, E70X14 Belted White Sidewall Tires, Sport Deck Rear Seat, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Air Conditioner - SelectAire, AM Radio, Tinted Glass-Complete, Deluxe Belts/ Warning Light, & Argent Styled Steel Wheels. The car now sports Magnum 500 wheels and BF Goodrich tyres.
Supplied with new black and silver pressed number plates.
