The 456M in the GTA version, equipped with a four-speed automatic gearbox plus reverse, represents the evolution of a model particularly appreciated by customers who wanted an authentic Ferrari capable of offering four seats and wide use.
Continuing the brand's tradition in the 2 + 2 sector, the 456M GTA, designed by Pininfarina, represented the meeting point between the performance of a 5, 474 cc V12 with the comfort and ability of a car with which to practice GT .
To obtain more space and absolute performance in terms of driveability and safety, the scheme with front engine and rear gearbox was the most rational solution. Particular attention was paid to aerodynamics, very effective thanks to the clean design of the front view and the adoption of a spoiler integrated in the rear bumper area.
The Ferrari 456, in the M GTA version, was produced in 631 units.
