For sale is my lovely Alfa Romeo Brera S 2. 2. It's an excellent, genuine example of the Prodrive engineered, special edition. The car has been absolutely faultless throughout my ownership and it's going to be a real shame to see it go, unfortunately it's not as well suited to our new location, on a farm in Cumbria, as the Land Rover we've now bought.
The car is in perfect condition and has had no expense spared in my ownership or that of its previous owners. I have just fitted a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres and have also put it through its latest service and MOT. At the same time, it had new Powerflex bushes fitted to improve its driving dynamics further. The car had a new clutch and dual mass fly wheel fitted at 63, 000 miles owing to its past life in London's stop-start traffic. It has also been remapped by Autodelta in London and had a performance air filter fitted which goes along way to smoothing out the engine's power delivery - a fault noted on the 2. 2. The car has also had its timing chain replaced at 70, 000 miles, which is another unfortunate fault of the GM sourced power unit.
The interior is very tidy and benefits from new red and black mats and a custom made oak gear knob, as well as bluetooth to modernise and improve what is a beautiful cockpit already.
The car does have a few minor points which could do with a little attention, though these are purely cosmetic. The wheels are a little curbed and I had meant to get them refurbished, but just haven't managed to get around to it. Also, there are some stone chips on the nose , which does reflect the car's age. Apart, from that, it is truly immaculate. Viewings are welcome.
