As a small importer from Italy it was the 900 Gran Canyon that contributed to the majority of Cagiva’s success in the UK. Following on from the very popular elephant model it replaced, this model was a forerunner to the road biased trialie bikes that became massively fashionable for the next 20 years. Once the major manufactures got hold of this concept, Cagiva could not compete and sadly it left our shores soon after.
Fitted with the incredible air-cooled 900 Ducati FI Desmo engine, this bike has charm and charisma aplenty. With the favoured red and silver colour scheme (only other option was blue and silver) this is a rare machine in a rare condition. With just 4 owners from new and less than 10, 000 kms on the clock - this is a great bike with plenty of life left in it for the next owner!
Included with the bike are a few maintenance bills, original service book and handbook.
