Description

Ford Mustang Mach 1 Big Block 351

Here we have a stunning 1970 “Grabber” orange Mach 1, in outstanding condition. The 69-70 Mach 1’s were continued as “sports roof” fastbacks editions. They looked very similar to the earlier Mustang, but this newer shape was generally larger throughout. Mach 1’s came with various engine packages, this example as the big block 351 Cleveland block with four venturi carb, 5800 cc paired to an automatic gearbox. It had suspension upgrades as standard, heavier springs, and shock tower upgrades with the addition of a thicker sway bar. This Mach 1 also has power steering, power disc brakes and MSD electronic ignition set up.
This car was built in the San Jose plant in California on 22nd November 1969 and sold into the Ford dealership in Los Gatos which is relatively small town in the San Francisco Bay area who then delivered the car in February 1970. It lived in California all its life, until being fully restored and crossing the pond in 2018.
The Mustang has been restored a few years ago throughout and the quality of the paintwork is highly recommended, and the interior has been refurbished beautifully. The Mach 1 Ford Mustang is an iconic part of Mustang history, and a superb example sits here waiting for its new owner.
If you like the photographs off this stunning Mustang wait to you see and hear it in real life!
