The 3. 0 straight six (M54) engine is the perfect engine choice for this car, producing 228 BHP. That’s the perfect amount of power for this light weight Roadster, this one comes with the desirable five speed, short shift manual gearbox. This Z3 is such fun to drive. The 3. 0 is more powerful than the 2. 8, the same excellent engine as found in the sought after E46 3. 0 Sports. The Z3 3. 0 is quite rare, only being available for the last two years of Z3 production.
The seating position is excellent, the handling very precise, these make a great weekend blast car. The owners of this car wanted the best example they could find, to take the car on a cross European trips. It was the perfect car for the job and it performed perfectly.
The bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condition. A lovely deep all over shine, all solid arches, no rust. Inside the leather interior has been maintained very well and is in lovely condition. The electric roof is very easy to use, opens and closed with the press of a button, its still looks very fresh.
This example has a couple of improvements made by the last enthusiast owner. The Z3 clear wind deflector is a lovely extra, along with a removable centre arm rest. Also, the rear exhaust has been improved to allow you to hear a little more of this lovely engine note. The exhaust note is just right, only slightly deeper in sound, just so you know you are in something special.
We have all the manuals, a fully stamped service book, all the keys etc.
Its comes MOT’d until August 2022 – with no advisories. The last service was May 2021 at 58, 519 Miles.
