Description
1967 Triumph Herald 1200 Saloon 43, 000 Miles with 3 former keepers , 1 owner from new up to 2009 , Supplied with supporting ownership history and original Green log book supplied to the first owner . Registered new in Gaydon on the 8th of August 1967 SOY130F . There are many MOT certificates supplied in support of the incredibly low mileage . This 60, s classic saloon was one of the most popular cars of the period and this example is finished in its original Wedgwood blue with contrasting dark blue seating and grey carpeting , All of which are original and superb . The beautiful wooden dash panel is unmarked . A period extra is the "Smiths" water temperature and oil pressure gauge fitted discreetly to the left hand side below the dash board . Having looked around this Herald closely I can only describe the condition as exceptional , IT IS NOT AN AVERAGE EXAMPLE . The chassis is beautiful and shows no signs of repair or corrosion . The bulkheads and battery box are excellent , Pull the choke and turn the key and the 1200 cc OHV motor bursts into life , It shows no oil burning smoke , Charges correctly and the motor is extremely quiet . Driving the Herald is a joy as its light and nippy , It changes gear easily , Brakes efficiently and steers beautifully , Of course it has the Legendary Herald turning circle . Truly a superb classic Triumph which again I must stress is a cut above the rest . A proven show winner . Supplied with its current V5C , Extensive maintenance history and associated paper work . A Herald for the discerning purchasers , - details above
