1962 Morris Minor 948 cc Two Door Saloon Finished in Smoke blue with contrasting light blue original hide interior , Presents beautifully both inside and out , The coachwork has a nice deep shine , The chrome is lovely and the interior leather work is just right for this popular 60, s icon . Must be a De Luxe as there is a "Smiths" heater installed and I love the early steering wheel . The engine compartment is excellent and the Motor when started is lovely , First pull of the starter and its away . . I drove the Morris upon its arrival and its just as it should be even down to its overrun Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr . Gears select well , Clutch does not slip and the back axel is quiet . Braking is efficient and straight . Up on the lifts for a good look at the underside finds the underside of the Morris to be in excellent condition . I note its had some of the traditional Minor repairs but these have been very well undertaken and anti corrosion treated . The boot area is again in great order with no corrosion noted in the usual places . Between 2020 and 2021 the Minor I note from invoices supplied had new brake wheel cylinders all round , Front and rear brake shoes , Brake fluid replaced , Gearbox and engine mounts replaced , New water hoses and thermostat , Oil filter , Classic 20/ 50 motor oil , Air filter , HT leads and spark plugs , Head gasket and de coke , New pedal rubbers , New gear box gaiter and various rubber seals etc . So very well maintained . I am happy to MOT this classic if required although exempt . Supplied with current V5C , HPi certificate (Clear) and associated paper work , A very pretty period saloon car ,
