toyota hilux rn20
right hand drive
original numbers matching 12r 1600cc petrol with floor change gears.
when we purchased this one it was in great shape. We freshened up the paint and then had the interior re-trimmed, dashboard reconditioned and added a removable load cover.
pulled the engine and drive train replacing gaskets and seals then detailed the engine its components and the engine bay.
re-wired.
new carburettor, filter, plug leads.
we overhauled the brakes with a new bigger servo and master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hand brake cables, flexi hoses etc.
new wheel bearings steering arms, ball joints and bushes.
all new shock absorbers.
new clutch hydraulics.
new exhaust.
new coil, reconditioned alternator.
finished it off with some refurbished jdm wheels and re-chromed front bumper.
the result is a lovely bright, clean solid truck.
one of the last rn20. manufactured 1980 and first registered 1981.
