1929 Willys-Overland Whippet 96A - Restored
Willys-Overland Whippet 5-passenger Coach in great mechanic and cosmetic condition and with only 29607 indicated kilometers on the odometer. The car retains its original 2. 4-liter 4-cylinder engine making 40 horsepower and 3-speed manual transmission. A complete restoration was commissioned under previous Danish ownership and the car has not been driven much since the restoration was completed. The sale includes the service book and documented history from new, including documents documenting the first owner taking delivery in 1929.
The car starts, drives, and stops as it should, and a full inspection and service assure that the car can be enjoyed as-is for many years to come. The car passed Danish Technical Inspection (Syn/ MOT/ TUV) in July 2017. The car has Danish papers and registration dating back to 1929 - one of the very best prewar cars we have ever seen.
