If you're reading this advert, the motorcycle is STILL for sale. Fresh in from Nebraska USA, an August 1966 BSA A65L Lightning with matching numbers. 1966 being the first year of the Lightning. Mileage of 1023 is since the bike was completely restored in the states. New pistons, cranks regrind, new mania bearings and valves and guides etc etc. A new battery is fitted, 2 new tyres. Chrome and paintwork are like new, this is probably the best A65 we have ever had. The owner in the states fitted indicators. They are very discreet and could easily be removed, but it's a nice modification. Be quick on this one, BSA A65s are getting hard to find in this condition, so it won't be here long at this price. The bike is not UK registered, but comes with all paperwork to show duties (NOVA & US Title) and to enable you to register it on a UK age related plate. Just add to this the DVLA 1st reg. fee of £55. 00. Full written instructions are provided with the bike. All classics purchased.
