I am selling my 2004 Honda Civic Type R EP3 JDM Import.
With just 81, 000 on the clock, this facelift EP3 is finished Championship White Metallic (exclusive to JDM cars), with upgraded Recaro interior. This is one of the cleanest examples for sale in my opinion. The bodywork and interior are both in lovely condition, with no damage to mention.
The car drives really nicely, with the JDM spec engine producing 20bhp more as standard than UK spec cars. In addition, this car has several tasteful 'OEM plus' modifications including the Volk Rays TE37 wheels (with matching Falken tyres all with good tread), Mugen front grill, Mugen airbox, Mugen exhaust, and Tein coilovers with adjustable springs.
In terms of corrosion, no rust can be detected on the underbody of the car (see photos). Everything on the car works, with no mechanical or electrical issues. The car has just been fully serviced by EP3 specialist Charles Gates Racing and has just received a clean MOT.
In a world where the rapid evolution of hot hatches into technological supercar killing beasts is inevitable, the EP3 Type R represents a pure, untainted form of the nimble, sprightly nature of hot hatches from this era. The high revving K20 truly provides excitement like no other, with the wonderful manual gearbox adding to this pure driving experience. Sadly, I am forced to sell this car due to a lack of underground parking spaces. As a result, I hope this sale provides one of you with the opportunity to pick up a clean, unabused example of one of the greatest Japanese hot hatches ever made.
JDM cars (which are rare in the UK) differ from UK cars in several ways:
Helical LSD
Japanese built K20 engine producing 20bhp extra over standard UK models
Upgraded Recaro interior, with red JDM carpets
Different cams, exhaust manifold, and ECU map
Better suspension geometry.
