1958 MGA Roadster
The replacement for the MG TF appeared in September 1955 in the form of the curvaceous all-new MGA. The early versions were powered by a 1500cc engine, however, this was increased to 1. 6 litre in May 1959 along with the fitment of disc brakes at the front.
This car was returned from the States in the mid 90’s and was then subject to a full body off restoration over the following decade, much of the work being carried out by Bob West
A full folder of invoices comes with the car but the principal upgrades were a stage 2 Oselli fast road engine of 1840 cc; Mk2 discs; Koni rear suspension etc.
Since then a Type 9 5 speed gearbox & conversion to RH drive, new radiator, new wheels/ tyres A full history, Heritage Certificate can be provided.
