Y reg 1983 MG Metro Mk1. Finished in silver with grey herringbone trim.
Selling as a project for refurbishment or restoration. Starts, runs and drives.
Many of the original features are still present including sports seats, red carpets, red seat belts, rev counter, pepperpot alloys with new tyres, and rear spoiler. Lots of paperwork including the original purchase invoice from 1983 plus a comprehensive letter from the first owner outlining the history of the car when in his ownership.
Last on the road in 2019 and only travelled just over 100 miles since then. MOT history plus lots of paperwork to back up mileage of 106k.
Having had a look over the car, it needs work but isn't a rot box by any stretch. I recommend that you come to see the car to satisfy yourself as to what work is required.
Standard Metro 1275 engine fitted as the original unit was replaced in 1993.
