Description
Land Rover 90 300 Tdi.
Fully restored by myself an avid restorer for 40 years. The aim was to make this Land Rover look like the last Defender built. It had been rebuilt on a new chassis with as many steel parts as possible galvanized, axle casings, radius arms, A frame, bulkhead, slam panel, radiator cradle, body capping’s, wheels the list goes on. Brake pipes are all Kunifer with brass fittings and stainless flexes. The canvas hood is as was used on the last Defender. Stainless steel bolts used throughout other than where they would contact aluminium when isolation was not possible. The engine has been rebuilt – bored, new pistons, shells, head reconditioned etc. It is painted in what is generally agreed the original 1948 light green. The objective was to build a Land Rover with quality parts and build in longevity. There is no bling and no bolt on goodies just a simple understated Land Rover. This Land Rover is a real head turner and draws crowds and waves from passer-by's. Number plate is being retained. Will have a years MOT. £22, 500 Phone Rod Barry the details below No time wasters or Claims Callers
