This is my brilliant Alfa Romeo Brera S 2. 2. This is a certified Brera S (paperwork included) which was tweaked by Prodrive and includes all the usual refinements, including 19 inch phone dial wheels, full leather interior, Eibach springs, Bilstein dampers and Prodrive's own custom exhaust system. In my opinion the grey paintwork and silver wheels is also the best colour combination for the gorgeous Brera.
This particular example has also had further upgrades with an Autodelta remap, which adds power and smooths out the 2. 2's power delivery. It also benefits from Powerflex bushes and a performance air filter. I fitted a fresh set of Michelin PilotSport4 tyres in November which have only done a few thousand miles.
Inside, the the SkyView panoramic roof has been uncovered which improves the interior and adds a little headroom too. I have also replaced the standard mats with colour coded Cocomats versions and added a wood and aluminium gearknob.
I have owned the car since February 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. It's a great combination of practicality and performance. It's also supremely well built and the quality of its fixtures can't be faulted.
The car has a full Alfa Romeo specialist service history and has had no expense spared during my ownership. It has had a new clutch, dual mass flywheel and gearbox bearing fitted during this time. I have also had the timing chain guides replaced which revealed that the 2. 2 litre engine's troublesome timing chain had been replaced by a previous owner around the 50, 000 mile mark and is in good health. The car also benefits from bluetooth connectivity for music and calls.
There are a couple of stone chips on the nose and the wheels each have small curb marks, so would benefit from a refurb. It's a fantastic car and I am only selling it due to shifting requirements of a new business venture. MOT until November 2022.
