101650 miles First registered 30 May 2003.
Last owner from 16 09 03 to April 2013 when I bought it.
MOT till 29 09 22.
Detailed service history almost complete since new.
Maintained by Saab independent garage in Liverpool since 2019 (Volvo specialist before that).
New rear exhaust just fitted.
Four Yokohama tyres with plenty of tread - fronts almost new.
Auto box control unit replaced with used Saab part January 2022.
Alarm siren, reversing sensor and rear bushes and trailing arm bushes replaced September 2021.
Last serviced to Saab spec, including new spark plugs, at 92207 miles January 2021.
New timing belt and water pump fitted August 2020 @ 88, 882 miles.
SID (Saab Information Display) refurbished via Saab garage plus new badges front and back December 2019.
This car has wanted for nothing in the nine years I have owned it. No rust except for a few tiny paint bubbles on rear hatch caused by some friction of the plastic number plate insert against the metal. Little or no damage to the outside beyond this and the interior is pleasing with the driver's seat looking very good. Present and previous owners non smokers. Our dog rides in the back (with Saab dog guard) sometimes.
The only negative is some grey/ white smoke on starting from cold. This varies from nothing to very obvious but goes straight away once engine is running. It uses some oil, half a litre topped up by the Saab garage after 1200 miles recently. This has been the case for the last seven years or so and has not deteriorated over that time. The temperature gauge very occasionally drops out though the thermostat is unaffected. The alarm siren can go off briefly from time to time so currently locking it on the driver's door. The other very minor fault is that the rear wash jet does not work, though the wiper does. The price takes all this into account.
Performance of this 3. 0t petrol engine is impressive - use the Sport mode on the automatic gear box with caution! The mileage is low for the year as we have used it in rotation with a Volvo V70, keeping the car in indoor storage when not in use. A rare very late 3. 0t petrol estate in bronze metallic.
