The SL is the fifth last produced of the Roadster series in 1963 and was destined for Indonesia. It was never delivered and remained with Mercedes-Benz until 1967 when it was sold to Mr Wheetcroft in England. In 1987 the SL went with its new owner Mr. Drees on a trip to Germany. In November 1995 it was sold by Kienle Automobieltechnik to Mr. Van Doorne from Deurne (Netherlands). The original color (black) was changed to silver. In 2008 the car was sold to a Dutch collector and is now in our possession. Fully documented and in excellent condition. This car was part of a Dutch collection for a long time. The car is matching number and has disc brakes, this is the most wanted version with discbrakes and aluminium engine , engine has been overhauled, and is in perfect condition.. The interior is still original and has a great condition with beautiful patina.
