A very rare car, particularly in the UK, this E500/ E550 saloon has a very high specification, just 28k miles from new backed up by full service history and is in near new condition.
Known as the E500 in the UK but E550 in other markets such as Japan where this car was sold new, this was a car that combined the urge of a 5. 5-litre 383BHP V8 with the subtlety and comfort of an E-Class. For those that wanted a fast E-Class without all the shouting of the AMG, the E500/ 550 provided discrete performance. Sixty mph arrives in a shade over five seconds and relentlessly on to a top speed limited to 155mph.
They are extremely hard to find in this country so we have brought this example over from Japan. Finished in Obsidian Black metallic with black leather interior, it was very highly specified from new featuring AMG sports package, bi-xenons with automatic high-beam assist, extended leather (leather dashboard), key-less go, power boot lid, sports seats, rear power blind, reversing camera, parking sensors and much more, listed in full below. Suffice to say this was a very expensive car new.

The car’s condition is absolutely impeccable. The paintwork is unmarked, the AMG wheels are perfect and shod with matching Goodyear tyres all round. The interior feels new.

Thanks to being in the kind climate of Japan and evidently kept inside from new, the underside of this car is in incredible condition.
