Humber Hawk mkIV sedan 2. 3
The vehicle is a museum inspected 2010 (Finnish originality check) Humber Hawk mkIV model year 1952. The car has a 2. 3-liter four-cylinder side valve engine with a four-speed manual transmission.
Car has e. g. original seat leather in place (sides upholstered), gauges / heaters etc. work. I got pictures of the restoration and e. g. color codes, etc. are stored. The car comes with a couple of maps, various documents, repair instructions, exploded images and advertising material.
The mileage of the last inspection on 5 July 2019 was 47603 km, now 10. 5. 2022 48019 km. I cannot quarantee is it first or second etc. round. The next inspection must done by June 30, 2023.
Last summer the brakes were sensitized and at the same time the brake cylinder rubbers were replaced at every angle and replaced the new rear brake shoes. At the same time I changed engine oils and oil filter. The car has been waxed by winter storage and is now ready for summer.
However it`s old car and “British car ways” there is minor oil drops under the car ans solenoid of startmotor might need cleanup or more usage, it seems work better and better when drive more regularly.
Overall, the Humber is really comfortable, the car is soft to drive, the machine starts and runs nicely and the gears shift well. The gazes turns and the conversation club can be found in the parking lots.
Used parts and nipples can be found in a few meat boxes. You can also make an offer!
