Offered for sale is this stunning 1974 Mobylette Motobecane Caddy X.
The Mobylette was an iconic fold-away French scooter/ moped and this is a fine example.
The seat folds down, the handlebars collapse and away you go with the carry handle onto the train/ bus/ your boat/ your camper.
The 49cc 2 stroke engine is faultless, it starts great with just the slightest of choke and runs very sweet indeed.
This beautiful little piece of history has just the 3 former keepers from new and I have a full V5 present with me, along with various manuals (including Haynes), old registration and MOT certificates.
It is now Tax & MOT exempt however the tax disc from the 80’s is still displayed in the under seat holder.
There is no mileometer (I doubt it’s done many) however there is a working horn and working front and rear lights.
In terms of condition, it truly is in superb condition for a moped from the 70’s, there is the occasional patina but it is very original.
