1963 Mobylette AV44 one off ex Orla Kiely Kings Road Chelsea shop window display.
A truly one off moped, i bought from shop a few years ago and wanted to keep exactly how it was displayed. I put new tubes / tyres on and panel screws also replaced cables, grips and pedals with preloved items from the period, also original nos headlight switch and bulb holder also front and rear number plates.
I have had bike running, sounds crisp and responsive and starts easily. Due to the unique paint job i did not put fuel in tank but ran moped off auxiliary tank.
Still has original hand pump and leather tool kit holder ( repaired on one end quite nicely) which has some items in as pictured.
I have added a couple of pictures from google showing moped in shop. Since in my ownership bike has always been inside my house.
Registered as an historic vehicle so tax and mot exempt.
Cash on collection or bank transfer I am based in Devon. I have the number of a bike courier i use, generally around £140 to your door in England.
