Just arrived into stock with us is this super desirable r107. For those in the know you will appreciate this is the rarest R107 of all being built towards the end of its production cycle , they were a fraction of them produced in relation to all the other models.
This particular example is a four former keeper example displaying just over 90000 miles from new . It comes complete with a service history folder including previous invoices, old mots and tax discs , it has been subject to over £4000 expenditure in recent years which has included a replacement of the full exhaust system with a genuine Mercedes Benz item, new brake calipers, discs and pads all round, battery, large service with all filters, fresh spark plugs and drive belts .
The car has been owned by the last owner for some 11 years and drives exceptionally well. On its most recent mot there were a few minor issues which we have rectified prior to giving the car a fresh 12 months mot to go on sale; these were as follows: all new ball joint covers on the front and 3 minor holes underneath which the mot tester must have had a magnifying glass for (I have kept pictures to prove) . Interestingly all the usual problem areas that bemoan these cars are in superb condition - there is no rot to the sills, all four arches or bulkhead and the inner arches are in superb original condition with the factory sealer still present everywhere as demonstrated in our online video appraisal of the car that can be viewed on our youtube channel. The underside is actually one of the best I have ever seen on a 107 owing to the fact that it has spent the last 12 years at the last owners holiday home in Spain

A well respected Classic Mercedes specialist inspected this car last month prior to our purchase and has advised that the car will require the valve stem oil seals to be changed at some point, these are available for £20 from the SL Shop and is a days labour to fit for any competent mechanic .
All of the above has been allowed for in the asking price which is substantially below market value : the cheapest 420sl currently in the UK is £28450 and has a much higher mileage so this car can be bought and enjoyed with no worry whatsoever over future value. We have such a high workload currently that we don’t have the time to prepare the car fully so are allowing someone else to invest the time and take advantage of the uplift in value.
